Follow Job Title: Zonal Coordinator UPP (x2) The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) is a statutory body created by the Energy Regulation Act No. 12 of 2019 to regulate Zambia’s energy sector. The ERB is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Zambian national to fill the position of Zonal Coordinator UPP to be based at its Head office and Copperbelt Region office.Zambia job listings To coordinate zonal activities that include data collection, data cleaning and analysis. This also includes verification, monitoring, inspection, and reporting activities relating to Uniform Petroleum Pricing (UPP) Fund claims and contributions. The role is critical to ensuring accurate fund administration and full compliance with approved guidelines. Structuring Employee Benefits Packages Main Duties and Responsibilities The main responsibilities for this role include: Undertake data collection and analysis that will enable determination of UPP claims and contributions by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). Supervise zonal field data collectors. Verify offloading, sales, and supporting documentation relating to UPP claims and contributions within the assigned zone. Conduct field visits to retail sites, depots, and relevant stakeholders to confirm compliance with UPP requirements. Liaise with Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), dealers, transporters, and other regional stakeholders on all UPP operational matters. Prepare comprehensive zonal inspection, verification, and compliance reports for management action. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications and Skills Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent with five (5) credits or better. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Transport and Logistics, or a related field. A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in inspections, compliance monitoring, petroleum operations, accounting, or fund administration. Must be a paid up Member of a professional body. Verification of all qualifications by ZAQA is required Must be able to perform duties with impartiality. Practical experience in conducting site inspections. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Meticulous and thorough in verifying documentation.
