Follow Job Title: Tree Monitoring Consultants (65) Community Climate Solutions (CCS) is seeking motivated Tree Monitoring consultants to support field-based tree monitoring across our project areas. This is a hands-on, field-intensive role suited to individuals who are comfortable working in remote locations, and engaging directly with farmers and community members while collecting accurate monitoring data through a mobile app.Download Interactive Maps Conduct tree monitoring activities in the field using the CCS mobile data-collection app. Record tree counts and survival data accurately at each monitoring point. Ensure monitoring data is linked to the correct farmer and field. Maintain high standards of data accuracy and completeness across all submissions; flag and correct errors promptly. Avoid duplicate or incorrect entries Engage respectfully with farmers and communities encountered during fieldwork, always representing CCS professionally. 3. Qualifications and core competencies Recent graduate degree or Diploma in Forestry, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Agroforestry, Natural Resource Management, or a related field Tree/forest monitoring, field ecology, or environmental data collection Strong attention to detail and a track record of accurate field data recording Able to work independently in the field, including remote or rural locations Willingness to learn new applications and technologies.
