Follow The Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC), a statutory body established under the Zambia Law Development Commission Act, Chapter 32 of the Laws of Zambia, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following vacant positions arising from the approved revised organisational structure. SENIOR RESEARCH OFFICER – LAW REFORM (ZLDC 3) Manager, Research and Law Reform To undertake specialised law reform work in support of the Commission’s mandate to make recommendations for law reform and development, including the preparation of proposed Bills and related reform proposals. Key Duties and Responsibilities Prepare recommendations for law reform, including proposed (layman’s) Bills; Review Bills and other subject matter referred to the Commission and provide technical input; Ensure law reform outputs are informed by research findings and stakeholder input; Participate in consultations and deliberative processes by providing technical input and clarification; Supervise Research Officers and manage delivery of assigned outputs. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate Minimum five (5) years’ post-qualification experience in legal research or policy analysis.; A minimum of 2 years of experience in a formal supervisory role, with demonstrated success in managing team performance, workflows, and operational delivery. Legislative drafting experience is an added advantage.
