Follow Position: Safety Management Training Officer Employment Type: Full-time / Contract Remuneration: Market-related (based on qualifications and experience) We are seeking a dedicated Safety management Training Officer to deliver, and evaluate training programmes that strengthen safety practices and human performance in high‑risk operational environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in equipping staff with essential skills in Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Human Factors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and enhancing organisational resilience. Deliver safety training modules focused on CRM and Human Factors. Conduct workshops, simulations, and practical sessions to improve staff awareness and performance. Deliver engaging in-person and digital safety training, toolbox talks, and site-specific inductions. Assess training effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Collaborate with management to align training with organisational safety objectives. Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Education: A recognised National Relevant qualification, Diploma or bachelor’s degree in safety management, Industrial Psychology, Human Factors, or a related field. Primary & Secondary Schooling (K-12) Training Expertise: Strong knowledge of CRM principles and Human Factors applications would be advantageous.Proven experience in safety training within high‑risk industries would be an advantage. (e.g., mining, oil & gas, aviation, construction). Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and coaching skills in English (multilingualism is a plus). Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in training or safety management. Compliance: A valid Zambian Driver’s License and the willingness to travel to different sites when required.
