Follow The International School of Lusaka (ISL) is seeking to recruit a professional, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our administrative team. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for parents, students, staff, and visitors and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for the school community. Receive and direct visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence. Maintain accurate records and filing systems. Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings. Respond to general enquiries from parents, staff, and visitors. Provide administrative support to various departments as required. Support school events and other administrative activities as assigned. Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum of two years’ experience in a receptionist, front office, or customer service role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, Gmail, and Forms) and the ability to work effectively in a cloud-based collaborative environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Experience working in a school or international environment will be an added advantage. Friendly and approachable personality. Strong customer service orientation. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. High level of integrity and reliability.
