This is an exciting opportunity for a professional passionate about maintaining academic standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in higher education. Position: Quality Assurance Officer Application Deadline: 31/07/2026 Reports to: Director of Quality Assurance The Quality Assurance Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the development, implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of quality assurance systems across the University. The successful candidate will work closely with academic and administrative units to ensure compliance with institutional, national, and international quality standards while contributing to an outstanding student learning experience. Support the implementation and monitoring of Quality Assurance policies, procedures, and frameworks. Assist with programme accreditation, reaccreditation, and curriculum review processes. Monitor teaching, learning, and assessment practices across online, blended, and face-to-face delivery modes. Collect, analyse, and report on quality assurance data and performance indicators. Support quality audits, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate student evaluation processes and contribute to quality enhancement projects. Facilitate quality assurance training and awareness activities across the University. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five O-Level credits, including English and Mathematics. Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role within a higher education institution. Experience with programme accreditation, reviews, and quality audits. Familiarity with Zambia’s higher education regulatory frameworks, including HEA, ZAQA, and TEVETA. Experience in online and blended learning quality assurance will be an added advantage. The successful applicant will demonstrate: Strong knowledge of higher education quality assurance standards. Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills. High levels of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills. Commitment to continuous improvement and student-centred quality practices.
