Follow The Learning Ladder Academy & Montessori Academy in Lusaka is offering the Oxford international Primary & Montessori Curriculum, invites applications from qualified, dedicated and innovative educators to fill the following positions: Primary Teacher and Early Childhood Teacher. At the Learning Ladder, we are moving from reactive management to proactive, collective accountability. We seek educators who are committed TO Building a Legacy of trust and operational excellence. Start Date: To be Communicated upon selection Ø Deliver engaging and effective lessons. Ø Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments in line with Oxford standards. Ø Create a positive, inclusive, and learner-centred classroom environment. Ø Support learners’ academic, social, and emotional development. Ø Communicate effectively with parents regarding learners’ progress. Ø Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities. Ø Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards, and professional ethics Minimum Qualifications & Requirements Ø Diploma or Degree in Primary Education or a related field. Ø Certification or training in the Oxford Curriculum / Cambridge Curriculum is an added advantage. Ø Special needs Qualification and experience is an added advantage Ø Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) registration. Ø Minimum of 2–3 years’ teaching experience in an international or Cambridge/Oxford curriculum setting. Ø Strong classroom management and assessment skills. Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ø Strong understanding of learner-centered and inquiry-based teaching. Ø Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs. Ø Highly organized, creative, and results-oriented. Ø Passionate about teaching and committed to continuous professional development. Ø Ability to work effectively within a team Ø Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons. Ø Prepare and maintain a well-organized, stimulating learning environment. Ø Support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Ø Observe, assess, and document learners’ progress. Ø Encourage independence, confidence, and self-directed learning. Ø Develop and maintain learner portfolios and classroom records. Ø Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on learners’ development. Ø Uphold child safeguarding, health, and safety standards. Ø Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and school management Minimum Qualifications & Requirements Ø Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Ø Montessori experience orSpecial needs Qualification and experience is an advantage Ø Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) registration. Ø Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching in early childhood setting. Ø Strong understanding of child development and child-centred learning. Ø Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ø Passionate about Montessori philosophy and early childhood education Ø Creative, organised, and observant Ø Able to work both independently and as part of a team
