Follow Plan and allocate trucks, drivers, and routes daily. Ensure timely loading, dispatch, and delivery of goods. Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance costs per trip. Investigate excess fuel use, breakdowns, and pilferage. Work to reduce operating costs. Prepare daily/weekly reports: trip sheets, logbooks, waybills, maintenance records, and incident reports. Ensure all paperwork is complete for Finance and Compliance. Coordinate with customers, warehouses, and milling plants for loading/offloading. Handle client complaints and ensure good service delivery to protect company reputation. Diploma or Degree in Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration. Minimum 3 years’ experience, in transport operations will be added advantage. Good understanding of Zambian Road Traffic Act, RTSA regulations, and fleet management systems/GPS tracking. Strong organizational, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to handle pressure and meet deadlines. Must have good personal reputation – no record of fraud or misconduct. Proficient in Excel, fleet management software, and report writing.
