Follow The University of Lusaka (UNILUS) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Lecturers in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The University is looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals who are committed to making a mark in the education sector. 1. FULL-TIME LECTURER – PATHOLOGY The Lecturer in Pathology will be responsible for teaching Pathology courses to students in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and other relevant academic programmes. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver high-quality instructional content, facilitate practical and laboratory-based learning, assess and mentor students, conduct research, and contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement. The Lecturer will also engage in scholarly activities and University initiatives that support the University’s mission of excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and healthcare education. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences or any other equivalent qualification. A PhD in Pathology will be an added advantage. At least three (3) years of teaching experience at a recognized higher learning institution with a teaching qualification. Evidence of research output, peer-reviewed publications, and conference presentations will be an added advantage. Strong clinical leadership, communication, interpersonal, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills. Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ). 2. FULL-TIME LECTURER – HUMAN ANATOMY The Lecturer in Human Anatomy will be responsible for teaching Human Anatomy courses to students in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and other relevant academic programmes. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver high-quality instructional content, facilitate practical and laboratory-based learning, assess and mentor students, conduct research, and contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement. The Lecturer will also engage in scholarly activities and University initiatives that support the University’s mission of excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and healthcare education. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, or any other equivalent qualification. Master’s Degree in Human Anatomy. A PhD in Human Anatomy will be an added advantage. At least three (3) years of teaching experience at a recognized higher learning institution with a teaching qualification. Evidence of research output, peer-reviewed publications, and conference presentations will be an added advantage. Strong clinical leadership, communication, interpersonal, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills. Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ).
