Follow The Junior Lawyer will monitor legal risk in documentation and giving guidance on the acceptable assumption of risk. Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for natural and juristic persons. And all also conduct legal research and gather evidence. Perform case research by taking depositions, attending site inspections, and engaging in discovery, the exchange of information pertinent to a case from both parties to the action. Summary of Key Responsibilities: Offer legal representation to clients in court proceedings on civil or criminal matters Manage regulatory and compliance related services. Interview new clients and meet with existing clients to render legal advice. Assist Clients seeking Orders for Protection and attends court hearings when needed. Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed Explain the law and give legal advice to clients Offer legal representation at arbitration or mediation hearings. Draft, Review and Manage Wills, Trusts, Estates, Contracts and Deeds. Facilitate innovative solutions to client problems. Manage and oversee paralegals and legal assistants. Prepare pleadings, notices and make appearances in court. Perform legal research to determine how the facts of a case interact with current law. Manage regulatory and compliance related services. Manage and oversee Paralegals and Legal Assistants. Prepare pleadings, notices and make appearances in court as directed by the partners Work with the Legal Assistants to maintains Records (data entry) and statistical information on clients served. Required Skills and Competencies Excellent written and public speaking skills Strong conceptual and research skills. Primary Areas of Accountability: Must have Post-Bar experience of a minimum of 3 years & above with a Well-Established Legal Firm or Corporate Organization Must have vast experience in Litigation matters and Corporate Law Experience of liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies. Professional and well informed with a keen interest in upholding the law while protecting a clients rights. Proven experience in Drafting, Negotiating and Reviewing Legal Documents Must have ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
