The goal of CHEP is to improve the health outcomes of Zambians by preventing new infections among populations most at-risk of acquiring HIV and delivery of integrated HIV, Tuberculosis and Maternal, Newborn and Child Health services. CIDRZ seeks applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Implementation Officer – Central, Copperbelt, North-Western Provinces. Reports to the District Community Health Services and Linkages Coordinator. The incumbent will provide technical support and coordinate the implementation of community HIV testing, including in Drop-in Centres and Market Posts, and linkage to care and treatment services. Oversees the implementation of HIV testing and prevention program activities at community level Coordinates all community health related activities to ensure comprehensive and quality provision of HIV testing services Leads community hotspot mapping activities for targeted case-finding Ensures that active referrals and linkages are completed within the testing and treatment cascade as per neutral status approach for program implementation Supervises HTS Counsellors and Peer Promoters/Community-Based Volunteers (CBVs). Carries out routine review of all source documents to ensure high quality data is reported Coordinates and collaborates with other partners in the implementation of HIV testing and prevention activities for target populations Participates in community and health-facility level meetings to review program performance Prepares monthly and quarterly reports and submit to the District Community Health Services and Linkages Coordinator Monitors service delivery supplies, financial and materials resources of the project at site level Ensures that activity funds are spent and retired in a timely manner according to CIDRZ financial guidelines Minimum of a Diploma in Social Work, Development studies or Health-related field Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a similar position Demonstrated experience working with community structures in public health projects Demonstrated experience in the implementation of community HIV prevention, treatment and care interventions.
