Heavy Machinery Equipment Mechanic / Repair Technician Responsible for the routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of construction heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, rollers, graders, trailers, etc.) on the project site. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, engine, transmission, and braking systems to eliminate equipment breakdown risks. Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks) and keep precise workshop maintenance logs. Ensure safe, clean workshop operations, proper maintenance of repair tools, and prompt requests for necessary spare parts. For Wheeled Excavator Operator: Safely and skillfully operate wheeled excavators for excavation, trenching, material loading, earthmoving, and subgrade clearing on project sites.Browse Careers Perform daily pre-operation and post-operation machinery inspections, including hydraulic oil levels, tire pressures, braking, and steering mechanisms. Work closely with ground survey crews, civil engineers, and site supervisors to meet precise engineering standards. Experience Requirement: Minimum of 3 years of proven, professional, and verifiable hands-on field experience in heavy machinery mechanics/repair OR wheeled excavator operation. Zambian Driving / Operating License: Must hold a valid Zambian Class G (Special Type Vehicles) license or relevant professional technical credentials. License must have been held and active for at least 3 years. – For Mechanics: Solid knowledge of diesel engine overhauls, hydraulic circuit troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.Know Worker Rights – For Wheeled Excavator Operators: High precision in machine maneuvering, earthworks, and tire mobility safety on civil sites. Work Commitment: High sense of responsibility, disciplined work ethics, and capability to handle operational civil project deadlines. Compensation & Benefits Package Gross Remuneration Structure & Benefits ZMW 6,000.00+ per month (Gross Monthly Remuneration Package) ZMW 9,000.00 – ZMW 10,000.00 per month (Gross Monthly Salary Package) Standard complimentary lunch provided daily by the company camp (Accommodation is not provided / 不包住宿)
