Our Client is looking for a Grants Officer who will be part of the Grants, Projects and Stakeholder Relations Team. She/He will work from identification of grants and tenders opportunities, through all the application process and to the report to the relevant stakeholders once the projects are in the implementation phase.Booking Historical Guided Tours Identification of new funding opportunities Creation and maintenance of a clear Annual Grants Plan with all opportunities applied for or passed Preparation and consolidation of compelling applications to secure funding for the business: Coordination of different streams to provide all information required Timely submission of all requirements Management of a repository of all supporting documentation required by Funders Development and maintenance of a Grant Tracking Tool to monitor grant progress, compliance, and performance Support the Legal Counsel in the contracting of the grant or subsidy Monthly stakeholder meetings with partners to ensure alignment is maintained throughout the program Provision of support on governance forums as well as tracking of strategy execution Minimum Qualifications/ Traits: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any business-related field Minimum 3 years’ experience with strong understanding of grant management processes. Strong ability to assess proposals, identify financial and operational risks, and provide evidence-based recommendations. Interest for renewable energy and rural electrification in Africa Experience with funding programs Excellent writing skills in English Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English (spoken and written). The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
