Follow URGENTLY WANTED: GENERAL MANAGER – MOTOR DIVISION As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic General Manager – Motor Division to lead, scale, and strengthen our motor operations in Lusaka. This senior leadership role is suited to a commercially driven professional with deep knowledge of the motor industry and a strong track record in managing complex, multi-department operations. Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the Motor Division in line with company growth objectives. Oversee all operational areas including vehicle sales, after-sales, service, parts, logistics, and administration. Drive revenue growth, market penetration, and brand positioning within the Zambian motor market. Develop and implement business plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance targets. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and motor industry best practices. Build, lead, mentor, and retain high-performing management and operational teams. Establish and strengthen relationships with suppliers, financiers, manufacturers, and key stakeholders. Monitor market trends and implement innovative strategies to maintain competitiveness and profitability. Minimum Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage. Minimum of 8–10 years’ senior management experience within the motor industry or a closely related sector. Proven experience managing multi-department motor operations (sales, service, parts, fleet, and after-sales). Strong financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills. Demonstrated ability to lead growth, expansion, or turnaround initiatives. Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
