As we continue to grow, we seek a strategic and dynamic Finance Manager to drive our financial strategy and operations. JOB TITLE: FINANCE MANAGER (FM) Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract As Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving efficiency across budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. Manages regularly the formulation, review, and implementation of financial management policies, regulations, and guidelines in order to ensure adherence to statutory provisions, standards, and best practices. Manages effectively, the provision of leadership to the team in order to foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement thereby motivating employees, enhancing morale, and achieving performance targets. Manages timely, the preparation and implementation of strategic plans in order to operationalise and execute the vision, mission and objectives of the organisation and ensure alignment with national priorities. Manages timely, the preparation and submission of financial reports in order to comply with financial regulations and facilitate informed decision-making. Manages timely, the preparation of the annual budgets, work plans in order to mobilize financial resources, control costs, and achieve financial goals. Manages effectively, the monitoring of finances in order to ensure that management of financial resources complies with the approved budgets and financial regulations. Manages effectively, the development and implementation of internal controls in order to enhance prudent financial management, transparency and accountability in the utilization of financial and material resources. b Manages timely, preparation and submission of quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements in order to ensure adherence to statutory provisions and facilitate informed decision-making. Manages timely, the management of risk in order to mitigate losses. Manages timely, preparation of responses to audit queries in order to ensure implementation of appropriate interventions. Revenue Collection and Commercial Services Manages effectively, implementation of commercial strategies in order to enhance revenue collection and facilitate programme implementation and financial sustainability. Manages timely, preparation of the monthly payroll in order to meet statutory obligations. Manages periodically, the maintenance of the asset register in order to ensure accountability of public assets. Manages regularly, the review and improvement of financial processes in order to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction through implementation of best practices and leveraging on technology. Manages effectively, the monitoring and evaluation of programme implementation in order measure progress and provide appropriate interventions. Manages timely, development of individual work plans and implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS) in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance. Manages effectively, human, financial and other resources in order to facilitate achievement of departmental objectives. Minimum Requirements, Skills, and Key Competencies Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA. Qualifications must be validated by the Zambia Qualification Authority (ZQA). A master’s degree in business administration or any related field will be an added advantage. Minimum Associate Member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) with a valid practicing license. Minimum six (06) years of progressive financial management experience, of which two (02) should be at Senior Management level. Familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards, preparation of financial statements and interpretation, and Knowledge of laws on employment, ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA, ZPPA, and Companies Act.
