Follow The Executive Driver will be attached to the executive office and will be required to transport the executive team and at time members of the executive team on long routes. clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. Arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and managing payments. Plan the driving route to minimize travel times and traffic disruptions, and be able to provide guidance on departure times to ensure executives arrive at appointment on time. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and exercise discretion as required Working independently and adhering to established policies and guidelines. Take direction from Executives, Directors and Executive’s assistants on travel plans and any changes to those plans Responsible for collecting mail and responding to any local law enforcement agency due to a security breach at executives’ residence while the executive and their families are traveling. Drive keeping the road safety regulations all the times. Be punctual and be at least 15 minutes early to the designated time and place. Maintain strict confidentiality on all conversations and information heard during transport assignments Drive vehicles safely, following the highway code, considering road and weather conditions and being courteous to other drivers. Appear well groomed, representing the company in a professional manner. Deliver assigned vehicle on schedule to an agreed location. Arrange for vehicle care and maintenance (i.e. vehicle service, oil change: tire rotation, cleaning, etc.). Maintain awareness of current road systems and conditions by monitoring news and traffic reports, adjusting routes as necessary to avoid delays. Be attentive and available on immediate call basis at any time include weekends. Take up the Company Messenger duties Primary Areas of Accountability: Qualifications and ExperienceZambia Employment News Grade 12 Certificate or Higher Education Diploma Must have at least a minimum of 7+ years’ experience as executive driver to Managing Director CEO, or other members of senior management Must have a minimum of at least a minimum of 5+ years experience driving in Zambia with excellent knowledge of the local road network and geography Must have excellent knowledge of Lusaka and surrounding areas, and a strong understanding of executive service Should demonstrate professionalism, discretion and reliability Must have a good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and be able to identify and respond appropriately to minor vehicle-related issues Good communication skills with ability to speak and read English Knowledge or experience in automotive mechanics will be an added advantage Multicultural exposure will be a plus Must be mature, calm, neat and presentable at all times Have a clean valid Class C 1 driving license
