Follow Zanaco Bank Plc is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Operations Division under the Facilities & Premises Management at Head Office – Support Functions: To provide logistical support towards attainment of fleet management service for ZANACO · To compile all defects of motor vehicles to supervisors to facilitate repairs to avoid more damages to Bank motor vehicles. · To make sure that all motor vehicles are kept clean to portray a good image of the Bank · To ensure that all motor vehicles are properly checked things like, oil water, road license, vehicle fitness, brakes, lights etc and to make sure those motor vehicles are kept in roadworthy condition. · To make sure that any road traffic accidents are reported to state police and supervisors. To comply with the law of the land to facilitate insurance claims as per our Bank Procedures. · To ensure that take over and hand over forms for each particular motor vehicle are adhered to for accountability purposes. · To drive all Bank motor vehicles outside/within the country and to ensure Bank assignments are fulfilled Any other responsibilities or (asks as maybe assigned management on time and reporting of issues is ongoing. Ensuring that vehicle service intervals are followed and reported. Number of reports about vehicle service being given Effective and efficient transport provision Check service requirements/quotations to ensure that no unnecessary items are included Manage Motor Vehicle Service providers to ensure service provided is in line with agreed Maintain overtime logs and ensure all necessary approvals are obtained Manage tasks and plan routes so as to ensure time efficiency Motor vehicle and overtime spend Complete and approved overtime sheets Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Functionality Vehicles are serviced on time and reporting of issues is ongoing. Ensuring that vehicle service intervals are followed and reported. Number of reports about vehicle service being given Effective and efficient transport provision Timely and efficient provision of Transport Liaise with business and support units to understand transport requirements Prepare daily plans for transporting staff and items as required Reduced costs on facilities operations and maintenance/ increased profitability for the bank Manage budget and ensure actuals are in line with budget for expenses within approved DOA Ensure service and costs provided by external vendors are appropriate and, where relevant, ensure that these relationships are managed via SLA’s Develop cost reduction initiatives and proposals for non-staff costs Relevant financial reports and metrics 100% adherence to policies, procedures, processes, standards, health and safety legislation and regulations Implementation of audit/inspection recommendations Ensure that all sections are implementing audit recommendations within agreed timelines Ensure adherence to all required professional and regulatory standards, legislation, regulations with regard to facilities, management Productivity benchmarks are met (as per job description and KPIs for direct reports) Prioritizing and assigning of tasks Preparation and monitoring of work schedule for direct reports Performance contracts, documentation and SLAs Employee engagement survey scores · Contribute to cost management for motor vehicle maintenance and overtime Motor vehicle service providers · Reporting car service, mileage issues and incident related to vehicle · Minimum class C license with no certificate restrictions Professional: As required by function · 5 years experience in driving Certifications: Mechanics certificate Reference Documents (Frameworks and Boundaries) Highway code, Premises and Facilities procedure manual. e.g. Physical Demands, Mental Requirements Physically demanding, travelling ONLY SHORTLISTED APPLICANTS WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO.
