Follow Job Role: Deli Assistant (Take Away) To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service. Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Cook food in various utensils or grillers Check food while cooking to stir or turn Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Monitor stock and place orders when there is a shortage High school diploma or equivalent Food handlers’ certification & food production certification Basic knowledge in food preparation Good communication and problem solving skills Physical fitness and ability to work at heights Candidate should be medically fit Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications: Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stay calm and focused Supervisory skills – ability to train Employees to use time efficiently and to be uncompromising regarding service delivery
