Follow The Clinical and Wellness Officer is responsible for the delivery and coordination of primary healthcare, emergency first response, and workforce wellness services across project sites in Zambia, with cross-border operational support into the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role ensures the effective functioning of site-based clinics and first aid stations, providing timely medical response, occupational health support, and holistic employee wellbeing services in remote and high-risk operational environments. Beyond clinical care, the position plays a key role in promoting mental health, psychosocial wellbeing, and preventative healthcare across the workforce, while also supporting approved community health and outreach initiatives. This is a dual-function role combining clinical healthcare delivery and structured wellness support, requiring a proactive, compassionate, and field-oriented healthcare professional capable of operating independently while aligning closely with HSSE, medical, and operational standards. The role is based in Mwense, Zambia, with travel to operational sites as required, including the Democratic Republic of Congo. Key Requirements for the Position: Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, or a related healthcare field Valid and active HPCZ and/or GNC registration Minimum 3 yearsโ experience in occupational health, emergency response, site clinics, or remote healthcare environments Certified training in counselling, psychosocial support, or mental health support will be an added advantage Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ALS, Trauma Care, or Emergency First Aid certification advantageous Experience in primary healthcare, first aid, occupational health, wellness programmes, or community healthcare initiatives Strong clinical judgement, interpersonal, counselling, and reporting skills Ability to work independently in remote and high-pressure operational environments High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality Valid driverโs licence required ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Mwense, Zambia (with travel to project sites, including DRC) ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ: 25 May 2026 ๐๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐: Open to Qualified Zambian Nationals only
