Follow Our client is looking to hire two professional Bus Driver Shift Workers to support staff shuttle operations. We are looking for disciplined, sober, punctual, safety-conscious, and experienced drivers who can operate under a strict reporting and accountability system. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, maintaining professional conduct, carrying out daily vehicle checks, submitting trip reports, and ensuring that the assigned staff shuttle bus is operated responsibly at all times. The Bus Driver Shift Worker will be responsible for driving staff shuttle buses safely, professionally, and on time, while ensuring passenger safety, vehicle cleanliness, basic daily checks, proper reporting, and full compliance with company procedures. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely drive assigned staff shuttle buses according to company instructions and approved routes. Transport passengers professionally, punctually, and safely. Conduct daily vehicle checks before and after trips, including oil, water, tyres, brakes, lights, fuel, mileage, cleanliness, and general vehicle condition. Complete and submit daily trip sheets, route reports, mileage records, and incident reports. Immediately report accidents, breakdowns, delays, route issues, mechanical faults, passenger incidents, or safety concerns. Maintain the assigned bus in a clean, safe, and professional condition. Ensure that passengers are treated respectfully and that the company’s image is protected at all times. Comply with all road traffic laws, PSV requirements, safety rules, and company operating procedures. Work according to shifts and schedules to be determined upon hiring. Support operations within Lusaka and, when required, accept assignments outside town. Avoid reckless driving, unauthorized trips, fuel abuse, vehicle misuse, alcohol use, and any conduct that may endanger passengers or company property. Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving buses, staff shuttles, or passenger service vehicles. Must have a grade 12 certificate and a valid Class C or higher driver’s license. Must have experience driving passenger-carrying vehicles. Defensive driving, PSV experience, or corporate shuttle experience will be an added advantage. Must be based in Lusaka and available for assignments outside town when required. Must be able to complete daily vehicle checklists, trip sheets, and basic reports. Must have traceable references from previous employers. Respectful to passengers and supervisors. Honest with fuel, mileage, time, and route reporting. Able to work under strict company procedures.
