Follow AGROPRENEURSHIP TRAINER – (ZAMBIA -LUNDAZI AND MUMBWA DISTRICTS) KickStart International prides itself in being an award-winning, global nonprofit social enterprise that develops and mass- markets low-cost irrigation solutions that are bought by thousands of small-holder farmers in developing countries by enabling them to lift themselves out of poverty. This is a one and half year job offer in Zambia (covering Lundazi and Mumbwa districts) that requires a lot of local travel. The Agropreneurship Trainer will lead farmer training, coaching, and capacity-building activities under the COMACO-KickStart International partnership (Arms to Farms) project in Zambia. The position will support smallholder farmers to improve productivity, profitability, climate resilience, and market participation through the adoption of agropreneurship principles, smart climate agriculture practices, irrigation technologies, and improved farm business management. The project also focuses on annual water-use output validation in comparison to agricultural productivity. The position reports to Zambia Country Manager.
