Senior Hydropower Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Hydropower Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about renewable energy and has a strong background in hydropower project development, engineering, and advisory services. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the development and delivery of hydropower projects. Provide technical expertise on the design, refurbishment, and development of hydroelectric power plants. Manage projects throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility through to implementation and operation. Deliver technical due diligence for owners, lenders, and investors. Act as Owner’s Engineer and Lender’s Technical Advisor on hydropower projects. Monitor construction activities and operational performance to ensure quality, compliance, and project success. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and maintain strong client relationships. Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project documentation. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline. Proven experience within the power generation sector, with a strong focus on hydropower. Demonstrated experience in both new-build and refurbishment projects for hydroelectric power plants. Sound knowledge of project development, project management, technical due diligence, and construction monitoring. Experience acting as an Owner’s Engineer and/or Lender’s Technical Advisor will be highly advantageous. Why Join Us?
