Job Title:   Junior Quantity Surveyor-Maternity Cover (4 Months) Job Location:  Lusaka Company Name:  Liege Africa Job Description: Prepare measurements and take offs from drawings. Prepare Bill of Quantities for review and approval. Preparing precise cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents. Prepare tenders for subcontactors and tender analysis of all quotations. Assisting in drafting subcontractor Contract Documents. Preparation and/or Review of Payment Certificates for client and subcontractors. Prepare and track Request for Information (RFI’s) Schedules. Manage budgets and track variations. Prepare and/or Review Variation Orders and submit for approval. Monitoring project expenses and providing financial updates. Review and/ or undertake drawings vs on-site measurement during construction. Prepare, Process, Reconcile and or Review Project Final Accounts. Qualification & Experience Education Diploma in Quantity Surveying (minimum) Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred) Experience 1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying, construction cost control, or estimating. Experience preparing take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), payment certificates, and variation orders. Technical Skills Reading and interpreting construction drawings. Quantity take-offs and measurements. Cost estimation and budgeting. Tender preparation and analysis. Contract administration. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with QS software such as CostX, WinQS, CCS Candy, Buildertrend, or similar is an advantage. Professional Registration Membership with bodies such as the Surveyors Institute of Zambia or registration with the Engineering Institution of Zambia an added advantage.
