Investment Accountant

We are a growth focused organization seeking to recruit vibrant and dynamic individuals in the following positions: INVESTMENTS ACCOUNTANT We seek a vibrant, dynamic, agile and innovative person to join our Investment Team. The individual will be part of a team driving the development and implementation of the investments strategies that are consistent with our policies and objectives. PURPOSE: The successful individual will be expected to undertake the investment market research, analysis and investment appraisals in order to facilitate investment decisions that optimise the value of investment activities MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Effectively monitoring the investment portfolio in order to assess the performance and facilitate implementation of intervention measures. • Undertaking market monitoring, regulatory development and analysis of the markets in order to facilitate investment decisions that will enhance the portfolio growth and minimise risk exposure. • Effectively participates in design and execution of growth strategies, development of new investments products and negotiating for favourable investment rates in order to increase revenue streams and optimise returns. • Undertaking the preparation of investment reports in order to inform management of the liquidity position of investments and facilitate decision making. • Ensuring regulatory and policy compliance across all investments in order to comply with statutory requirements and performance enhance of investments. • Effectively resolving and responding to internal and external audit queries in order to ensure timely closure of audit gaps and strengthening of internal controls. • Supervising and undertaking effectively the preparation of investment reports in order to inform management of the liquidity position of investments and facilitate decision making • Supervises and undertakes effectively the collection of debt in order to ensure the recovering of monies owed COMPETENCIES AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS • Grade 12 School Certificate• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA)• Technical understanding of financial markets and economic indicators is desired.• Proven experience of not less than 3 years work experience in Investments• Able to write technical and descriptive investment reports• Strong analytical skills with attend to details• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills• Initiative and high level of integrity• Committed and result oriented• ZICA Membership MODE OF APPLICATION Interested individuals meeting the requirements are encouraged to apply electronically through advertiserjobs26@gmail.com attaching a comprehensive curriculum vitae, ZQA certified copies of relevant qualification with the subject clearly indicating the position of interest not later than Tuesday, 25th August 2026 to the Advertiser-Jobs, Lusaka.
