In this role, you will be at the heart of our daily operations – ensuring the store is clean, shelves are fully stocked, and every customer leaves satisfied. Key Responsibilities As a General Assistant, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with responsibilities that include: Customer Service Excellence: Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Store Maintenance: Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with OHASA regulations by keeping store areas clean, organized, and safe. Stock Handling & Merchandising: Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock deliveries. Ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are attractively displayed. Team Collaboration & Development: Work effectively as part of a team, build positive workplace relationships, and take initiative in your personal and professional growth. Minimum Requirements Education: Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4) Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in a general worker or similar role Skills & Competencies Strong communication and active listening skills Excellent time management and multitasking ability Attention to detail with good problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others Knowledge & Attributes Basic understanding of OHASA legislation and retail customer service practices Resilient, reliable, and aligned with company values and principles Why Join Us?
