POWER ELECTRICIANS – 3 POSITIONSKey ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, and maintain electrical substations and power distribution systems.Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical faults and breakdowns.Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures.Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.Academic and Professional RequirementsFull Grade 12 Certificate.Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.Valid registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body, where applicable.Additional training in high-voltage systems and substation operations will be an added advantage.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 3–5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience.Demonstrable experience in operating, managing, or maintaining electrical substations.Experience in troubleshooting high-voltage and low-voltage systems.Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.2. EXCAVATOR OPERATOR – 1 POSITIONKey ResponsibilitiesOperate excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with operational requirements.Conduct daily equipment inspections and report mechanical defects.Perform excavation, loading, and material-handling tasks as assigned.Ensure proper care and maintenance of the equipment.Adhere to workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.Academic and Professional RequirementsFull Grade 12 Certificate preferred.Relevant excavator operation certificate or recognized heavy equipment operating qualification.Valid operator's license or certification, as required by applicable regulations.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 2–3 years of proven excavator operating experience.Ability to operate an excavator safely in an industrial or heavy-duty work environment.Basic knowledge of equipment inspection, routine maintenance, and fault reporting.Experience in a steel manufacturing, construction, mining, or scrap-handling environment will be an added advantage.APPLICATION PROCEDUREInterested candidates who meet the above requirements should submit their applications, accompanied by an updated CV and copies of relevant academic and professional qualifications, addressed to:The Group Human Resource ManagerGood Time Steel Company Zambia LimitedApplicants should clearly indicate the position they are applying for and email their application letters to yosefezulu@yahoo.com.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Closing Date: 22nd October, 2026.
