Business Strategy and Development Lead Lusaka, Zambia · Full-timeWe’re an established Zambian business group launching two new ventures, and we’re looking for a strategy lead to take them from idea to launch.What you’ll doShape the strategy and business model for two early-stage venturesResearch markets, competitors, pricing and regulationsBuild financial models and test whether the businesses are viableFind and negotiate with suppliers and partners.Plan and run pilot projects, and turn the results into clear decisionsLead a small team.What we’re looking for5+ years in strategy, business development, consulting or starting a businessA degree in business, economics, finance or a related fieldStrong financial modelling and Excel skillsClear writing, with the ability to turn research into decisionsComfortable working in the field and with people at every level, from community traders to corporate partnersExperience in retail, FMCG distribution, logistics or the Zambian informal market is a plusFluent English; Nyanja or Bemba is an advantage
