Job Title: DriverCompany: Eliado Meat Supplies Limited Location: Lusaka Job Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term ContractJob DescriptionEliado Meat Supplies Limited invites applications from suitably qualified, reliable, and disciplined individuals to fill the position of Driver.The successful candidate will report directly to Management and will support the Company’s transport, logistics, deliveries, collections, and day-to-day operational activities, while complying with Company policies, hygiene standards, and applicable Zambian road traffic and labour laws.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive Company vehicles in a safe, lawful, and responsible mannerTransport meat products, supplies, equipment, and documentation as assignedEnsure timely deliveries and collections in line with operational requirementsConduct daily vehicle inspections, including oil, water, tyres, lights, brakes, and general conditionKeep assigned vehicles clean, roadworthy, and properly maintainedPromptly report any mechanical faults, damage, accidents, or safety concernsAssist with loading, unloading, stock-taking, and general operational or butchery support duties when requiredSafeguard Company property, goods, documentation, and vehicles entrusted to himMaintain professional conduct, honesty, punctuality, and reliability at all timesComply with Company procedures, hygiene standards, safety requirements, and lawful instructions from ManagementMinimum RequirementsApplicants must meet all of the following:Valid Zambian Driver’s Licence of the appropriate classNo history of serious traffic accidents or reckless drivingPolice Clearance Certificate (mandatory)Traceable references from previous employers (mandatory)Physically fit and able to assist with operational duties when requiredOf sober mind and good moral characterHonest, punctual, reliable, and trustworthyExperience in a butchery, food retail, FMCG, distribution, or similar environment will be an added advantageHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit copies of the following:NRCValid Driver’s LicensePolice Clearance CertificateTraceable reference contactsApplications should be submitted via email to:eliadomeats@gmail.comApplication Deadline: 30 September 2026Applications may be reviewed as they are received, and suitable candidates may be contacted before the closing date.Note: Shortlisted candidates may be subject to reference checks and verification of submitted documents before appointment.
