Workshop Foreman

Workshop ForemanBudget Logistics is looking for a skilled and experienced Workshop Forman to join our team specializing in Volvo, Scania, and Zhohntong (Cummings) Trucks/Buses.Key Responsibilities·        Supervise mechanics and workshop staff to ensure efficient daily operations.·        Plan and coordinate servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance.·        Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure repairs are carried out correctly and on time·        Ensure proper use and care of workshop tools, equipment and spare parts·        Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing and maintenance schedules.·        Report major mechanical issues and maintenance requirements to management           Requirements ·        Grade 12 certificate or equivalent·        Diploma or relevant qualification in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering·        At least 3-5 years’ experience in heavy duty vehicles workshop, with supervisory experience·        Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty vehicles and vehicle maintenance·        Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills·        Ability to work under pressure and meet maintenance deadlines·        Valid driver’s license, preferably with experience driving heavy vehicles
