Raw Material Intake & Inventory Control Interns x4

JOB PURPOSEThe Raw Material Intake & Inventory Control Intern will be responsible for accurately monitoring, weighing, recording and reporting all raw materials transferred from the Raw Material Warehouse into the Intake Pit.The position is critical to strengthening inventory accuracy, material traceability, stock reconciliation, production accountability and control of raw material losses.The Intern will ensure that every raw material entering the intake system is physically verified, weighed and accurately recorded before intake.The position requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, discipline, attention to detail and accountability, as the records generated will be used for daily, weekly and monthly stock reconciliation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor all raw materials transferred from the Raw Material Warehouse to the Intake Pit.Verify each raw material before it enters the intake system.Weigh raw materials individually before intake as required by the approved procedure.Record each individual material movement accurately.Ensure that no raw material enters the intake system without being properly recorded.Verify material identification, including product name, batch/lot where applicable and quantity.Confirm that the physical material corresponds with the documentation provided.Record all material movements on the approved intake recording system/register.Immediately report any discrepancy between physical quantities and documentation.Prevent duplicate entries, omissions, incorrect quantities or incorrect material identification.Minimum QualificationsGrade 12 Certificate – mandatory.Diploma or Certificate in any of the following is an advantage:Stores ManagementInventory ManagementProcurement & Supply Chain ManagementAccountingBusiness AdministrationData ManagementStatistics or a related field.HOW TO APPLY:Candidates meeting these requirements should apply to the Human Resources Manager, a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) in PDF Format to the email careers@kamimbiaquafeed.com with the subject Tagline of the position e.g. RAW MATERIAL INTAKE & INVENTORY CONTROL INTERN* Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted. *Kamimbi Aqua Feed (L) is an equal opportunity employer.
