Shop Assistant

The role Assisting the Shop Attendant with the day-to-day operations of the shop, supporting stock management, maintaining store presentation, and delivering excellent customer service while helping grow the customer base. Key Responsibilities·       Assist with stock and sales records as directed by the Shop Attendant.·       Provide accurate product information and guide customers in making purchasing decisions.·       Engage customers, promote products, and actively recruit new customers to increase sales.·       Support daily sales activities and customer service.·       Assist with FIFO/FEFO practices and report damaged or expired stock.·       Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and attractive product displays.·       Support receiving, shelving, replenishing, and counting stock.·       Assist the Shop Attendant with daily store operations.Key Requirements·       Grade 12 Certificate·       Certificate in sales and marketing or any related field is an added advantage. ·       Excellent customer relations ·       Attention to detail.·       Excellent communication skills ·       At least 2 years’ work experience as a Shop Attendant or related field ·       Computer literate·       Able to speak Swahili for the Kasumbalesa is a preferred Include Position and Location in the subject line -E.g.
