Eye RefractionAll functions related to clinical works of an Ophthalmic OptometristExamine eyes, using observation, instruments to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or color blindness.Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aidsEducate and counsel patients on eyecare, contact lens care, visual hygiene, lighting arrangements and safety factorsConsult with and refer patients to ophthalmologist or other health care practitioner if additional medical treatment is determined necessaryAssist Customer select the appropriate Optical Frame and Lenses best fit for correcting their visual need and within their budget. Dispense Spectacles to customers and educate them on how to handle the eyewear. Assist in selling eyewear, sunglases, accessories to csutomers. Making follow-up to ensure customers’ orders are ready and dispensing the ready glasses to the customer with explanation on how to take care of them.Achieve established sales and customers service goals and objectivesPerform small repairs and adjustments to the frames if requiredHandle customers questions and concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous mannerFollow all company procedures in registering, recording eye test results, creating sale orders, cash handling and other common practices.Share store maintenance and cleaning of the displayed products and store areas to ensure Store is well organized and kept clean.Assist co-workers as needed including data entry in computer, making follow up with head office or customers etc. as and when required.Inventory ManagementMaintain good working relations with customers, coworkers and vendors.Any other duty assigned by management from time to time within your ability
