PURCHASING & SUPPLY INTERN

POSITION SUMMARY The Purchasing & Supply Intern will support the Procurement Department in sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services to company projects and operations.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in sourcing suppliers and requesting quotations for goods and services- Prepare Local Purchase Orders, Goods Received Notes, and maintain procurement files- Support stock taking, inventory control, and warehouse management- Follow up with suppliers on deliveries to site and head office- Maintain supplier database and procurement records- Assist with tender and bidding document preparation- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Procurement ManagerMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Must be a Zambian Citizen- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Diploma/Degree in Purchasing & Supply, Procurement, Logistics, or Business Administration from a recognized institution- Minimum of Credit or 60% average- Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint- Must know how to bid using the e-GP platform on the ZPPA portal*- Must possess a valid Driver’s License*- Must be a member of ZIPS or CIPS*- Knowledge of ZPPA guidelines and ERP systems will be an added advantage- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines- Willing to travel to project sites when required.  - must be a Lusaka resident living near Northmead areas .
