CHINESE TRANSLATOR/ASSISTANT

We are looking for a vibrant and reliable person to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret spoken conversations during meetings, negotiations, training sessions, and site visits.Facilitate effective communication between Chinese-speaking and local employees.Translate technical documents, contracts, manuals, reports, and correspondence.4.Ensure translations maintain the original meaning, tone, and context.Proofread and edit translated documents for accuracy, grammar, and consistency.5.Assist Chinese expatriate staff with communication in daily operations.6.Translate company policies, safety procedures, and training materials.7.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information and documents.8.Coordinate communication between departments to avoid language barriers.9.Provide cultural guidance to help improve understanding between Chinese and local staff.10.Support Human Resources, Procurement, Administration, and other departments with translation needs.Perform any other duties assigned by management.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (knowledge of local languages is an added advantage).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Previous experience as a Chinese translator/interpreter is an added advantage.
