Recoveries Officer

Century Loans is seeking an individual to join our team in the Collections Department as a Recoveries Officer. The Recoveries Officer will be responsible for effectively recovering outstanding debt from clients who have defaulted on their loan repayments. This will involve proactive communication, negotiation, and implementation of recovery strategies while adhering to the institutions policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesDebt Recovery: Contacting delinquent borrowers via phone, email, SMS, and in-person visits to recover outstanding balances.Portfolio Management: Managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts, prioritizing based on risk and outstanding amounts.Client Tracing: Locating clients who have changed contact information, moved home locations, or are difficult to reach.Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all recovery efforts, including communication logs, payment agreements, and legal actions.Reporting: Preparing regular reports on recovery progress, including recovery efforts, portfolio performance, and challenges faced.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of a Diploma in any Social Science or any other related field.Proven experience in loan recoveries, collections, debt management, or any other related field.Must possess a valid Driver's License.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong ethical and moral character.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Applicants can apply by submitting their CV and Supporting Documents to: recruitments@centuryloans.net
