CALL FOR PROPOSALS — Environmental Clean-Up and Waste Disposal Services

1. BACKGROUNDCelium Enterprise Limited, located off Kudu Road, Kabulonga, Lusaka, is committed to promoting environmental sustainability and maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy working environment. Due to the presence of an illegal dumping site adjacent to our office premises, the company intends to undertake a community environmental clean-up exercise aimed at restoring the surrounding area. Accordingly, Celium invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to submit proposals for environmental cleaning and waste disposal services2. SCOPE OF WORKThe selected organisation will be expected to carry out, but not limited to, the following:Collection and removal of accumulated waste from the identified dumping siteClearing of overgrown vegetation, weeds, and bush around the dumping siteTransportation and environmentally compliant disposal of collected waste Provision of all equipment, labour, and tools required for the exerciseSuggestion of a permeant solution to avoid the area of turning back into a dumpsite 3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAOrganisations wishing to submit proposals must meet the following minimum requirements:Must be a registered company or organisation in ZambiaMust have demonstrable experience in environmental, community, or grounds cleaning servicesMust be able to provide references or evidence of previous similar workMust have the necessary equipment and manpower to carry out the work efficiently4. WHAT YOUR PROPOSAL SHOULD INCLUDEInterested organisations are requested to submit a proposal that includes the following:Company profile and brief overview of services offeredRelevant experience and references from previous cleaning or environmental projectsA detailed work plan outlining how the scope of work will be carried outAn itemised quotation / cost breakdown for the proposed servicesProposed timeline for completion of worksCopies of business registration and any relevant certificationsDetails of the proposed waste disposal methodology and disposal site5.
