Machinist 4

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Machinist to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining manual machining equipment to produce high-quality precision components in accordance with engineering specifications and company standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other workshop equipment.Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation accurately.Manufacture, assemble, and finish metal components to precise tolerances.Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are kept in optimal working condition.Work with a variety of materials including steel, aluminium, and brass.Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Candidate RequirementsCertificate/Diploma in Machining or Mechanical Engineering or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial machining work.Valid membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).Proven experience in a machining role, with strong knowledge of manual machining processes.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their CV and relevant certificates to hr@bafokenghydraulics.com before 25 June 2026.
