Job Description

Reports to HR Manager. The Resourcing Specialist is responsible for providing a delivery, support, and advisory service to hiring Managers in order to ensure the recruitment process and candidate experience works smoothly and incorporates all the best elements of our service to deliver a rapid and quality hire.Main dutiesCorrectly implements and interprets HR policies and labour laws and provides guidance to Project Heads and Managers on handling resourcing issues. Develops a complete understanding of CIDRZ objectives to effectively shape and plan recruitment requirementsUnderstands CIDRZ resourcing needs in order to meet business objectives and act as the resourcing subject matter expertIs externally focussed and curious about best practice in the external labour market and ensures the organisation is continually updated with labour market conditionsAssists with Job analysis and job evaluation to ensure jobs are properly gradedAssists with change management initiatives by conducting readiness assessments, job-impact analysis, and skill and capability assessments.Effectively and efficiently maintains and updates Job descriptions and competence profileConducts and coordinates the recruitment cycle for the entire organisation and ensure interviews, selection, placement and orientation enhance acquisition of staff.Ensures new staff are placed at correct salaries and negotiating with prospective candidates were need arisesProcesses work permits for expatriate staff, initiating follow ups with immigration department Conducts yearly organisational man power planning in consultation with the Manager and maintains the organisation establishment spread sheet to ensure optimum staffing numbersPrepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Prepare periodic special reports to reflect staffing trends by project, grade and staff turnover analysisEnsures maintenance of confidential files for all employees for management information and record purposes.Qualifications Full Grade 12 Certificate Degree in Human Resources Management5 years’ relevant work experienceWorking knowledge of Zambian Labour LawsExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsAnalytical thinking and attention to detail Job analysis and evaluation training is an added advantageValid practicing ZIHRM licence a mustSuitably qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
