Heavy Equipment Repair Coordinator

Role Overview:Heavy Equipment Repair Coordinator shall provide leadership and direction to the maintenance staff which involves the operation, servicing and repair of heavy-duty equipment and supervising the activities of employees engaged in the operation and repair of heavy equipment such as tractors, backhoes, loaders, forklifts, Excavators, Telehandlers Excavators and cranes. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Ensures that all Artisans are scheduled with work orders or defect dockets on mechanical works.To repair and maintain Loaders, cranes, forklifts, Tractors, excavator, Tipper trucks and light vehiclesProvide training and support to the maintenance crew being led through maintenance programsOversee and maintain maintenance programCoordinates all activities in the Garage workshopSchedules equipment repairs to minimize impact on productivityManage Repair decisions and ensure compliance with scheduled maintenance PM of equipment and manage workflowAssembles reports on the suitability, reliability, availability and operating costs of various models of equipmentEnsures service spares kits are available and assists in budget preparationsEnsures that the maintenance shop, bays, Tools, Storage containers and yard are properly maintained, organized, functional safe and cleanMaintains comprehensive records for each item of equipment with respect to down timeTrouble shoot diagnose and repair and repair equipment Preferred candidate qualifications & experienceGrade 12 CertificateCraft Certificate in Heavy Equipment RepairFive years’ experience in repairing, operating and maintaining heavy equipmentMust have worked as Heavy Duty foreman for not less than 5 yearsWorking in the mining set up is an added advantageMust produce certifications of previous trainingsMust possess a driver’s licenseMust be knowledgeable of OSHA and general safety requirements of heavy equipment shopsLocation; NdolaApply by emailing your application and Curriculum Vitae to: recruitment@sablezinc.co.zm not later than Tuesday 23rd June 2026
