Production & Quality Control Manager

Reporting to: General ManagerUmoyo seeks a dedicated Production and Quality Control Manager to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, overseeing production processes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Key Duties                                    ·       Oversee all aspects of the production processes to ensure seamless operations and adherence to production schedules.·       Develop and execute comprehensive production plans that align with business objectives and meet market demands.·       Design and implement new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality.·       Ensure thorough inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to maintain high quality standards.·       Accurately document and maintain records of tests, inspections, and certifications to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.·       Prepare and present regular reports on production operations, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.·       Supervise and train production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.·       Work closely with the warehouse, logistics team, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and efficient workflow.Skills and qualifications·       Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Food and Beverage industry·       Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology or related field·       Excellent communication and presentation skills ·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills·       Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards·       Certification in quality management systems (ISO 9001, HACCP) will be an added advantage.How to apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you’re a great fit for this role.
