Laboratory Technicians (2 Positions)Location: Shibuyunji District, ZambiaCompany: China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC)China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a leading international construction company, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Laboratory Technician (2 Positions) based in Shibuyunji District.Duties and Responsibilities· Carry out laboratory and field testing of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt. · Collect, prepare, and analyze material samples in accordance with approved testing procedures and standards. · Record, compile, and maintain accurate laboratory test results and reports. · Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated safely. · Assist in monitoring quality control and quality assurance processes on construction projects. · Report test results to engineers and project management teams in a timely manner· Maintain laboratory housekeeping, safety, and environmental standards. · Perform any other duties assigned by the Laboratory Manager or Project Engineer. Minimum Qualifications and Experience· Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or a related field. · At least two (2) years of relevant experience in construction materials testing. · Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control standards. · Ability to operate laboratory testing equipment and interpret results accurately. · Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications. · Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills. · Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision.
