Chibanje Chemicals and Engineering Ltd is a construction chemicals and equipment manufacturing company based in Kafue. We manufacture tile fix, paints, roofing sheets, grouts, varnish, spirit of salt, anti-termites among other construction and home care products.A production general worker is a vital manufacturing team member who operates machinery, assembles parts, and prepares goods for distribution. They ensure assembly lines run smoothly, maintain workstation cleanliness, conduct basic quality checks, and strictly follow safety and health protocols to meet daily production targets.Core ResponsibilitiesManufacturing & Assembly: Assemble parts, operate factory equipment, and feed raw materials into production machinery.Quality Assurance: Monitor products on the line, remove defective items, and conduct basic testing to meet company standards.Packaging & Warehousing: Pack finished goods, label items, and load shipments for dispatch or warehouse storage.Safety & Maintenance: Keep workspaces clean, sanitize work areas, report equipment faults, and follow all health and safety guidelines.Key RequirementsPhysical Stamina: Must be physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and capable of lifting heavy loads.Education: Typically requires a High School or Grade 12 Certificate.Soft Skills: Ability to handle repetitive tasks, perform basic math, and communicate effectively in a team environment.Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, or rotating shifts (e.g., day, night, or weekend shifts)If you meet the above criteria, please send your application and CV to william@chibanje.com
