About Kuluta Talent AdvisoryKuluta Talent Advisory is a human resource and business advisory firm providing practical HR solutions, talent management, compliance support, and organizational development services tailored to help businesses grow and manage people effectively.Job PurposeThe Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and securing new business opportunities for the firm. The role requires a proactive and highly motivated individual capable of building strong client relationships, generating leads, and successfully closing deals to support business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities for the firm.Generate leads through networking, referrals, research, and strategic outreach.Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.Present the firm’s services to potential clients in a professional manner.Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and follow-up communications.Negotiate and support the closure of business deals and partnerships.Meet agreed business development and revenue targets.Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and provide periodic business development reports.Work independently while coordinating with management on strategic opportunities.Represent the firm professionally in meetings, networking events, and online engagements.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or any relevant Social Science field.Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ work experience in business development, sales, marketing, or client relationship management.Proven ability to generate business leads and close deals successfully.Experience in consultancy, HR services, or professional services will be an added advantage.Knowledge or understanding of Human Resource practices will be an added advantage.Skills & CompetenciesStrong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.Highly self-motivated and results-oriented.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.Good organizational and reporting skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual communication tools.
