We offer creative, effective and flexible solutions that not only help individuals discover their career paths but provide organizations with talent they can recruit, develop and retain. About the Company and Role:Wagtech Zambia Ltd is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive / Business Development Officer to promote and sell laboratory, analytical, environmental, and water testing equipment across Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, developing client relationships, preparing quotations, following up on tenders, and achieving sales targets in both public and private sectors.The role requires a highly organized, confident, and professional individual with strong communication and negotiation skills.Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities in laboratories, mining, universities, water utilities, research institutions, hospitals, agriculture, food processing, and industrial sectors.Promote the company’s range of laboratory and analytical equipment.Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender responses.Follow up on customer inquiries and maintain strong client relationships.Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits.Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.Coordinate with suppliers and technical teams regarding product specifications and delivery timelines.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.Attend exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings on behalf of the company.Assist in marketing campaigns and social media business promotion where necessary.Qualifications and Experience:Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 2 years experience in sales or business development.Experience in laboratory, medical, scientific, mining, or industrial equipment sales is an added advantage.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication.Ability to prepare professional quotations and reports.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.Desired Skills & AttributesSelf-motivated and target-orientedProfessional appearance and conductStrong negotiation and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independentlyGood presentation skillsAbility to travel within Zambia when requiredStrong attention to detailKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly sales revenue achievedNumber of new clients acquiredTender opportunities identified and submittedCustomer retention and follow-up rateQuotations converted into salesCompensation:Competitive salarySales commission and performance incentivesTraining on international laboratory equipment brandsCareer growth opportunitiesExposure to major projects and institutional clientsTo Apply:Please send your CV to careers@talenthousepeople.com  before the 3rd of June, 2026.
