OPERATIONS OFFICER

Zetu Courier Limited Job Title: Operations Officer*Location: Lusaka, ZAMBIA.About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Operations Officer to oversee our outbound and dispatch operations. You’ll be responsible for making sure orders move from our warehouse to customers quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively. If you’re organised, proactive, and thrive in fast-paced environments, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities- Manage Outbound & Dispatch Team: Lead, schedule, and supervise the dispatch team to meet daily targets and maintain high service standards.- Follow-ups & Coordination: Conduct regular follow-ups with riders, Agents, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth deliveries of parcels- Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with warehouse/store teams, and ensure accurate inventory records to prevent stockouts and overstock.- Route Planning: Plan and optimise delivery routes daily to reduce transit time, costs, and delays.- Rider/Transport Management: Assign jobs to riders and enforce compliance with company policies.- Timely Delivery: Take ownership of on-time delivery KPIs.
