Underground Rock Drill Operato

Job ResponsibilitiesOperate pneumatic rock drills (jackleg drills) safely and efficiently underground.Perform drilling work according to mining and tunneling plans.Drill blast holes for underground mining operations.Support underground development, tunneling, and ore production activities.Inspect drilling equipment before and after use.Maintain drilling tools and equipment in good working condition.Follow all underground mining safety procedures and company regulations.Report equipment faults and unsafe conditions immediately.Work closely with blasting and mining teams underground.Job RequirementsMinimum 2 years of underground mining drilling experience.Must be experienced in operating pneumatic rock drills / jackleg drills.Familiar with underground drilling and blasting operations.Physically fit and able to work underground and long shifts.Good understanding of underground mine safety procedures.Able to work under pressure and in remote mining areas.Previous underground hard rock mining experience is preferred.Preferred SkillsExperience in tunneling and mine development.Basic equipment maintenance knowledge.Teamwork and communication skills.Responsible, disciplined, and hardworking attitude.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary package.Accommodation and meals may be provided.Transport allowance depending on site conditions.Overtime opportunities available.
