Job Description

JOB SUMMARYReporting to the Senior Manager – Finance. The purpose of this position is to work with the General Manager and Management in managing the Finance reporting function including assisting in preparing financial reports and monitoring accounts. JOB SPECIFICATIONSReview of journals and overseeing the financial reporting process.Preparation and interpretation of reports, accounts, commentaries on management accounts.Review of monthly management accounts and ensuring timely submissions.Preparation of the Bank of Zambia returns.Ensuring timely submissions of the monthly and quarterly statutory returns.Support in preparation of the financial performance review for the Company’s Board PacksPreparation and review of group reports.Support in the preparation of the Company annual Budget.MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTSFull grade 12 certificate or its equivalent Full ACCA, CIMA or ZICA or Equivalent. Member of ZICAAt least 4 years’ work experience in the Finance Sector or any related relevant experience.OTHER REQUIREMENTS Excellent communication and listening skills.Good Numerical, accounting skills and Problem-solving skills.Excellent Interpersonal SkillsAbility to work well under minimum supervision.Proactive and self-motivatedAttention to detail and ability to work accuratelyMaintain the highest level of confidentiality, discipline and integrityTO APPLYSuitable candidates must send their applications, attaching their current CVs and professional/academic certificates, to careers@bayport.co.zm. The closing date for receiving applications is 28 May 2026.
