The company is committed to providing fast, reliable, and responsible credit solutions to formally employed individuals.Position SummaryThe Loan Consultant will be responsible for marketing salary-based loan products, assessing and processing loan applications, disbursing loans, and ensuring timely recovery through payroll deductions and follow-ups, in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket and promote salary-backed loan products to eligible retail customersIdentify and onboard new salaried clientsReceive, verify, and process loan applicationsConfirm employment details, salary slips, and employer informationConduct affordability and basic credit assessmentsPrepare and manage accurate loan documentationClearly explain loan terms, repayment schedules, and conditions to clientsFacilitate loan disbursement after approvalMonitor loan repayments and follow up on missed or delayed paymentsLiaise with employers and clients regarding payroll deductions where applicableMaintain accurate client records and performance reportsEnsure compliance with company policies and ethical lending practicesProvide excellent customer service at all timesMinimum Qualifications & RequirementsDiploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldExperience in microfinance, salary-based lending, banking, or sales is an added advantageStrong communication, negotiation, and customer service skillsAbility to meet targets and work under minimal supervisionHigh level of integrity and confidentialityBasic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel)Willingness to conduct fieldwork within SolweziPersonal AttributesSelf-motivated and results-drivenHonest, reliable, and detail-orientedCustomer-focused with strong interpersonal skillsApplication DeadlineClosing Date: 15th May 2026Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
