SECURITY GUARDING CONTROLLER

ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Security Guarding Controller to oversee the day-to-day operations of our security guarding function within the Severance and Security Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, supervision, and performance management of all security guard personnel, ensuring strict adherence to protocols, compliance with Zambian labour and security regulations, and the safeguarding of company assets and personnel.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, coordinate, and supervise the deployment of security guards across all designated sites and postsMaintain accurate duty rosters, attendance records, and shift schedules to ensure 24/7 operational coverageConduct regular inspections and audits of guard posts to verify compliance with standing orders and operational proceduresManage the severance and exit procedures for security personnel, including documentation, handover, and clearance processesLiaise with site managers, HR, and legal teams on disciplinary, grievance, and separation mattersIdentify training needs and coordinate refresher courses, drills, and certification renewals for guarding staffPrepare incident reports, intelligence briefings, and monthly performance summaries for senior managementEnsure compliance with the Private Security Act of Zambia and relevant labour legislationMonitor and control the issuance and accountability of security equipment, uniforms, and access credentialsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEGrade 12 School Certificate (essential)Diploma or Certificate in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or related fieldMinimum 1 year in a security supervisory or controller rolePrior experience managing severance or HR exit processesSound knowledge of Zambian labour law and security regulationsProficiency in MS Office and security management systemsValid driver's licence (advantageous)KEY COMPETENCIESStrong command presence and ability to lead diverse security teamsMeticulous attention to record-keeping, reporting, and documentationSound judgement under pressure with high ethical standards and integrityExcellent communication skills — written and verbal, across all levelsAbility to manage conflict, handle sensitive severance matters with discretionHow to ApplySubmit a cover letter, detailed CV, and certified copies of qualifications to: admingts@geyesinc.com or via WhatsApp 0976945898Subject line: Application — Security Guarding ControllerKitwe residents are strongly encouraged to apply for this position.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
