About the ProjectLiebherr Zambia, in cooperation with Fountain Gate Crafts and Trades School (FGCATS), is implementing a project to establish a sustainable dual apprenticeship programme. One component of the project focuses on developing short-term modular courses to expand access, generate revenue, and support long-term sustainability.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Project Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of short-term training courses. The role focuses on operational support, organisation, documentation, and coordination of course development and delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with management, trainers, and industry partners.The assignment is expected to commence on 01 June 2026 and will run for a duration of approximately three months (about 60 working days), with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of a 3-year short-course roadmapAssist in the preparation of documents, presentations, and reportsCollect and compare supplier offers, pre-check invoices, and track basic financesOrganise venues and assist in setting up training spacesSupport trainers during course delivery and manage registrations and participant recordsAssist with marketing and communication activities and follow up on course fees and paymentsSupport day-to-day project operationsRequired Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in administration, project coordination, or training supportStrong organisational skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and work independentlyGood working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience in event organisation and logisticsStrong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to interact professionally with students and partnersBasic knowledge of financial processes is an advantageInternship OptionThis position may also be offered as an internship, depending on the candidate profile and project needs.
